BASIC.Holy Spirit by Francis Chan

I was sold at the opening line of this video “Maybe the biggest concern with the Church today is this apparent lack of the Holy Spirit’s power… the Holy Spirit was supposed to change everything.” Watch the whole thing below.

It’s also been a big thought on my mind. Why do we try so hard to make things happen in church or in our lives when the New Testament shows most, if not all, big events recorded there happening by God’s power, not man’s?

I’m looking forward to seeing this. You can get it here.

PS: On a related note, Francis Chan’s book Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit was a great read.

The Holy Spirit is very powerful. It is something that many people fear for the simple fact of not completely understanding. I go to church where it is embraced and wanted to be part of our services every service.
